Rolling back a change
Undo a published change
Any change Burnish published can be reversed. On your Activity trail, find the change and choose Undo. Burnish checks the current state, then restores what was there before.
How rollback works
You can roll back a published change from its audit entry at any time. There is no expiry on it: the before-snapshot is kept as a permanent record, so an entry from your first week is as reversible as one from this morning.
What can be undone
Content changes like description rewrites and metafield updates are reversible. When you undo one, Burnish records the rollback as its own entry, so the trail always shows what happened and when.
Rolling back is safe to do. It restores the previous value and leaves a clear record, so you can always retrace your steps.
