Reading per-action lift

The impact of one change

Per-action lift shows what a single approved change earned. Burnish compares a baseline before the change against the window after it, and reports the difference in both your visibility score and, where a revenue source is connected, dollars.

Reading it

Each lift comes with a 95% confidence range, never a single inflated number. If too little time has passed, fewer than about a week, or there are too few data points, Burnish shows that it does not have enough data yet and counts down to when it will.

Where you see it

Per-action lift is part of the Authority plan. If no revenue source is connected, you still see the visibility-score lift, and the dollar figure appears once a pixel or analytics source is in place.

Give a change a week or two before reading its lift. Early numbers are held back on purpose, so what you see is trustworthy.
