Reading the undo trail
A record of every change
Every change Burnish makes to your catalog is written to an activity trail, before and after. Each entry captures the previous value, the new value, the type of fix, and whether you or Autopilot applied it.
What the statuses mean
- Completed. The change landed successfully.
- Reverted. You rolled the change back.
- Partially reverted. Some of the change was restored, and some could not be.
- Queued. A change is waiting for your approval before it ships.
What is kept
Completed and reverted entries are kept as a permanent record, so you always have an auditable history of what changed. Entries for changes that never actually landed are cleared out after about 90 days.
The trail is your safety net. Before approving a big batch, scan the recent entries to see exactly what Burnish has been doing.
